The Transfer Component aims to holistically support and develop SEA transfers through resource-based programming that is intended to smoothen the transfer transition and provide the necessary tools for success during and after their time at UCLA. The component will equip transfers with transfer-specific resources that range from post-grad opportunities to job searching, as well as provide a space for transfers to highlight their experiences, network with the community, and develop leadership and professional skills.
Transfer Workgroup members are recruited at the beginning of Fall Quarter and the position is a year-long commitment. Workgroup members are responsible for assisting the Transfer Coordinator and SEA CLEAR staff with planning the quarterly programs about transfer-related issues like apartment hunting, imposter syndrome, and professional development. Time commitments can range from 2-6 hours per week for workgroup meetings, event planning, and event attendance. Applications can be found on our social media pages when available.
